2013 Blanc de Blanc - extended tirage
After 9 months on lees and 26 months en tirage, this sparkling wine has a clean mango and stone fruit nose. On the palate there is ample weight, acid and length with flavors of pomelo, key lime pie, graham cracker crust and shortbread.
"The 2013 Blanc de Blanc is a fabulous sparkler that's oddly made from 100% Viognier. It has a fine mousse as well as classy notes of white flowers, citrus and brioche. Fresh, elegant, crisp and lively, it's seriously impressive and a terrific effort to drink over the coming year or so."- Jeb Dunnuck, 90 points.
