Blanc de Blanc Tasting

If you aren't going to the Rhone Ranger Paso Experience- please join us on Valentine's Day in the tasting room. We will not only be open and pouring our current released reds but the 2013 Methode Champenoise Blanc de Blanc Viognier. This is your chance to taste them with your Valentine! 

After 9 months on lees and 14 months en tirage, this sparkling wine has a clean mango and stone fruit nose. On the palate there is ample weight, acid and length with flavors of pomelo, key lime pie, graham cracker crust and shortbread. This brut wine is a first for Thacher, more cases of this vintage will be disgorged next year after extended tirage.

The $10 tasting fee is waived with a 2 bottle purchase for groups of 9 and less.  Parties of 10-20; please call ahead to arrange for an appointment, tasting fees apply and are not waived with purchase. Groups greater than 20 we are happy to pour pre-paid wine by the bottle. Tasting is always complimentary for Thacher Wine  Club members plus two of  their guests.
